Hello, I am Mantuka Masnoon Umama.

Hi, I’m Mantuka Masnoon Umama — a microbiologist with a growing focus on computational and structural biology.

I completed my BSc in Microbiology at North South University and am currently pursuing an MS in Biotechnology at the same institution. My research interests lie at the intersection of wet-lab microbiology and computation, particularly in molecular biology, protein structure, bioinformatics, and biological data analysis.

My undergraduate thesis explored the structural and evolutionary relationship between GOLT1B and IFITM3, combining phylogenetics, sequence analysis, protein structure prediction, and functional domain analysis.

I’m interested in using computational approaches alongside experimental biology to better understand complex biological questions. This site is where I share my research, projects, and work in computational biology.
